Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Střezovská rokle Gorge ca. 1.5 km long, east of Březno near Chomutov, Tertiary Most Basin. It is formed by volcaniclastic sediments of the Střezov Formation. Erosion by flowing water created complex meso- and microrelief, which became a refuge for animals and plants in otherwise flat, agriculturally used landscape.
