Short characteristics of the site:
Prominent landmark towering above the Litoměřice City. Abandoned quarry exposes a basanite intrusive body within the Cretaceous marlstones of the Teplice Formation. Volcanic body exhibits columnar jointing with a haphazard column orientation. Geomorphologically and volcanologically significant site.
