Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry where leptynite was expoited. This is whitish, strongly mylonitized orthogneiss with pinkish grains of almandite and microscpopic kyanite with graphite. This high-quality natural stone was used for building purposes. Petrologically very interesting.
