Short characteristics of the site:
Deep erosional Labe (Elbe) River canyon. Exposed amphibolite body with the phyllites belongs to southeastern rim of the Saxothuringian Unit on the contact with the the Teplá-Barrandian Unit. Geotectonically significant locality.
