Short characteristics of the site:
Large protected area with several important geological phenomena. The body of trachyte in a laccolith form emplaced into tectonically predisposed active rift zone. Several minor volcanic features. Tectonically and volcanically significant locality. The whole area is hazardous from a landslide viewpoint.
