Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Hazmburk Hill with ruins of a medieval castle. An exhumed dyke of nephelinite basalt. Basaltic outcrops are surrounded by marine Cretaceous sediments. Petrologically and historically interesting locality, also very attractive for tourists.
