Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Rocky cliffs exposing the transgressive surface of Cretaceous sediments over Carboniferous conglomerates and arkoses of the Nýřany Member (Kladno Formation). The overlying Cretaceous sandstones and mudstones were appointed a stratotype of the Peruc-Korycany Formation (Cenomanian). A reference stratigraphical locality.
