Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Series of outcrops on river bank exposing the contact between the Proterozoic and Central Bohemian Pluton. The pluton consists of hornblende-biotite granodiorite of Sázava type. Proterozoic sediments are contactly metamorphosed into biotitic hornfels. Very instructive section.
