Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Rocky cliff exposing a medium-grained, pophyritic granite of Weinsberg type. Porphyritic texture is distinct and preferred orientation of K-feldspar phenocrysts was observed. Also interesting forms of relief due to frost weathering and erosion. Petrologically and geomorphologically interesting locality. This locality belongs to the Nature Park Novohradské hory.
