Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned sand pit with an outcrop of the Bzenec Formation of the Vienna Basin. Alternation of fine-grained sands and clayey silts, overlain by cross bedded fine-grained gravels and sands. Sedimentologically interesting locality.
