Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Outcrop in a stream bank. Exposure of weathered granite of the Žumberk type overlain by the basal Cretaceous conglomerate. The depression on the granite surface is filled with micaceous claystone of the Peruc Beds (Cenomanian). Remains of fossil flora. Paleontologically and stratigraphically important locality.
