Short characteristics of the site:
Small abandoned pit exposing the Pannonian silts and sands of the Bzenec Formation in the Vienna Basin. Sandy interlayers exhibit common ripple and graded bedding. Several fossiliferous horizons. Stratigraphically and paleontologically interesting locality.
