Short characteristics of the site:
Group of abandoned quarries with quartzose sandstones of the Korycany Beds (Cenomanian). Sandstones contain kaolinite and glauconite and display blocky textures as curent bedding and fossil occurrences. Sedimentologically remarkable locality.
