Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Old brickyard with outcrops of flyschoid sediments of the pelitic facies of the Ždánice-Hustopeče Formation. They consist mostly of calcareous claystones with siltstones. Abundant fossil fish remains. Paleontologically and stratigraphically important locality.
