Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Three small abandoned and vegetated quarries after marlstone (opuka) exploitation. Relics of Permian sediments can be found nearby, overlain by glauconitic sandstone and highly calcareous marlstone. In this sandstone shark teeth were found. All the outcrops are poorly preserved, sandstone layer, described in literature, was not found.
