Short characteristics of the site:
Giant active quarry in the Proterozoic greywackes with siltstone and shale interlayers. Slight contact metamorphosis observable. Several dykes of a quartz diorite porphyry. One of the most instructive sections in the contact metamorphosed Proterozoic sediments.
