Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Four abandoned quarries. Registered as a wollastonite deposit. Mineral association on the contact between Šumperk granodiorite and carbonate rocks of the Branná Group. Skarns consist mainly of garnet (grossularite), clinopyroxene and wollastonite. Very interesting mineralogical and petrologically locality.
