Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry which exposes an intrusion of plutonite of a Třebíč Massif into its mantle. Třebíč Massif consists of a durbachite with following mineral association: Hornblende, biotite, feldspar, quartz. Its mantle consists of banded leucocratic aplitic migmatite. Petrologically very significant locality.
