Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry and nearby gorge. Outcrop of the Bačov Beds with a horizon of bituminous marlstone which yielded interesting fauna. Overlying beds consist of claystones, dolomite bed and sandstones. Paleontologically and stratigraphically significant locality.
