Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Orlice River bank with series of oucrps of Cretaceous sediments, also in the railway cut. Sediments of the Rohatec Beds (Coniacian) are present, represented mostly by siliceous calcareous claystones. Due to rch fauna this locality was selected as a type locality of the Rohatec Beds.
