Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Abandoned quarry after exploitation of roofing slates. Part of the Andělská Hora Formation is exposed together with a layer of pebbly mudstones (Culm, Carboniferous). This layer is 200-300 cm thick and contains clasts as great as 50 cm across.
