Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrops exposing a transgression of Cretaceous sediments over Proterozoic phyllites (Nové Město Group). Cretaceous sediments are represented by spongilitic marlstones of the Bílá Hora Formation (Turonian). Stratigraphically significant locality.
