Short characteristics of the site:
Open sandy pit, partly active.Thick sequence of sands and gravelly sands, with interlayers of kaolinitic sandy clays. In fine-grained layers rich remains of the Miocene fossil flora occur. Interesting relics of brownish ironstones.
