Geology

Short characteristics of the site: The rocky ridge made of porphyroblastic muscovite and sericite-muscovite orthnogneiss called "the Bíteš Group of Rocks" and belongs to the Moravicum Zoned. Mentioned ridge is morphologicallly strongly differentiated into tors, cliffs, frost cliffs and talus fields and cones. Also cryoplanation processes caused formation of terraces.
