Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Isolated rock in the form of a rock needle formed of subarkoses up to conglomerates of the Slaný Formation. Interesting weathering phenomena, as selective weathering, abri, honeycombs. Geomorphologically important locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Upper Carboniferous and Permian - Central and Western Bohemian Late Palaeozoicum
