Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The abandoned quarry exploited stones for aggregate production. The quarry was founded in the erosional relic of tephrite lava. The tephrite displays columnar jointing combined with horizontal fracturing. Unfortunately, lot of garbage accumulates in this quarry. The locality belongs to the Doupovské hory Mts. The locality is recommended for protection.
