Geology

Short characteristics of the site: A forested hill. Its summit area is formed by a volcanic body exhumed from the surrounding Cretaceous sediments (outcrops of the Březno Formation sandstones). Volcanic rock can be classified as sodalite alkaline trachyte with analcite and nepheline. Thick talus fields on the hill slopes. A petrologically interesting locality.
