Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Old quarries exposed a stratigraphic sequence from the Lower Silurian up to the Lower Devonian. The Dvorce-Prokop Limestone is formed of typical nodular limestones and its bedding planes are cut by some radial fractures. Rich paleontological material.
