Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Road cut exposing upper parts of the Dobrotivá Formation and lower parts of the Libeň Formation. The claystones of the Dobrotivá Formation contain calcareous concretion with well preserved trilobite fauna.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Bohemicum (Central Bohemian region) - Barrandien
