Geology

Short characteristics of the site: One of the largest rock cities (castellated sandstones) of the whole Czechia. Formed of the youngest Cretaceous sediments, with variable grain size, amount of carbonate cement and other admixtures. Numerous relief forms due to selective weathering. Geomorphologically very attractive. Also sedimentary textures abundant.
