Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry with talc-bearing Sobotín amphibolite massif of a Devonian age. Talc forms three lens-like bodies in actinolitic-chloritic schist. Petrologically important, also botanically interesting locality. The locality is registered as Nature Monument.
