Short characteristics of the site: Old mine works, dumps and adit entrances, mostly caved in. Stratiform banded magnetite ores of Sydvaranger type were exploited. They are embedded in pre-Devonian biotitic gneisses of the Desná Group. Mineralogically and historically significant locality.
