Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Artificial outcrop showing pegmatite dyke penetrating a serpentinite body. Serpentinite is enclosed within migmatitized gneisses. Pegmatite dyke is 40 m long and 100-250 cm thick. Its paragenesis comprises 43 identified minerals. Mineralogically very significant.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moldanubicum - Metamorphic units in Moldanubicum
