Short characteristics of the site: Old brickyard exposing eolian sediments with buried soils overlying fluvial deposits. Reference section which was investigated also by paleomagnetic methods. The oldest sediments are of pre-Quaternary age. World-known section of Lower- and Middle Pleistocene loess.
