Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Frost cliffs consisting od banded chloritised phyllonites. Such a rock is characteristic for a Kladsko Crystalline. Rocks are cut by numerous quartz veins and lenses. Small-scale folding and crenulation. Petrologically interesting locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moravosilesian region - Brunovistulicum
