Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrop on the river bank. Bíteš Gneiss in a Thaya Dome is exposed. Rocks consist of leucocratic two-mica orthogneiss with interlayers of a biotitic amphibolite and paragneiss. Petrologically significant locality.
