Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry in greyish-reddish Permocarboniferous conglomerates with interlayers of greywackes and arkoses. Interesting sedimentary textures, as mud cracks, ripple marks. Pebbles in the conglomerate consist of limestones of Macocha Fm., amfibolites and gneisses. Sedimentologically important locality.
