Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Road cut exposing a section of high-purity limestones of upper parts of the Vilémovice Limestone of Macocha Formation (Frasnian, Upper Devonian). Limestones are rich in coral fauna. Important stratigraphical locality. The relation cleavage x bedding is exposed in the wall. Limestones are karstified. The locality belongs to the Protected Landscape Area Moravský kras - the Moravian Karst.
