Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry with outcrops of the Svodnice Formation of the Vlára Development of the Bílé Karpaty Unit. Sediments are represented mostly by coarse-grained sandstones, often graded and laminated with ripple bedding. They alternate with calcareous claystones. Sedimentologically and stratigraphically important locality.
