Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Slope with natural outcrops formed of the Lukov Member of the Soláň Formation of the Rača Unit of the Magura flysch (Paleocene). Massive sandstone and conglomerate banks are in vertical position or even recumbent. Many interesting weathering phenomena.
Regional geologic unit: Carpathian - Flysch belt - Magurian group of nappes
