Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry with outcrops of a sandstone lithofacies of the Svodnice Formation of the Vlára Development of the Bílé Karpaty Unit. It consists of turbidite rhythms where graded beds of subgreywackes predominate. Sedimentologically and stratigraphically interesting locality.
