Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Steep rocky slope with an outcrop of lava flow consisting of analcite tephrite which has baked basement. Underlaying volcaniclastics fill the river chanell. The deposits document porcesses of erosion and re-sedimentation of volcanogenic material in periods of volcanic calmness.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
