Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Railway cut with outcrops of the Vsetín Beds of the Zlín Formation of the Rača Unit of the Magura flysch (Upper Eocene). Vsetín Beds are formed of calcareous claystones with some layers of glauconitic sands. Beds are intensively folded and faulted by overthrusts. Tectonically and sedimentologically important locality, classified as Nature Monument, situated in a Nature Park Vizovické vrchy - the Vizovice Hills.
