Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Large abandoned quarry olistostromes and olistoliths are exposed. They appear as blocky conglomerates with a tilloid texture. Limestone block is of the Oxfordian age. Schistose limestones pass into nodular limestones. Tectonically, sedimentologically and stratigraphically important locality, recommended for protection.
