Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned brickyard exposing loess layers with a malacofauna (Upper Pleistocen). Several horizons of buried soils overlie a loess complex. Stratigraphically important is soil complex PK I, because it is overlain by a Pavlovian horizon (29-22 000 years BP). The locality is classified as National Nature Monument in the Protected Landscape Area Pálava.
