Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Nw. ridge of the Lysá hora is built of the Godula Formation (Upper Cretaceous, Silesian Unit) of the Carpathian Flysch Belt. Gravity movements formed pseudocarst cave 217 m long and 34,5 m deep.
Regional geologic unit: Carpathian - Flysch belt - Outer (Menilit-Krosněny) group of nappes
