Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Open pit exposing 8 m high face with a loess section. Several horizons of buried soils occur within this loess complex. In the lower part of this outcrop this loess passes into blown sand. This section is one of the most important Upper Pleistocene loess exposures in the SE Moravia.
