Short characteristics of the site: Old mining works, pits and dumps. Quartz vein follows a fracture zone a cuts hydrothermally altered amfibolite, gneiss and micaschist. Mineralization in the form of chalcopyrite and galenite occurrences. Also baryte present. Mineralogically important locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Lugicum - Orlice-Sněžník crystalline complex
