Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Stream canyon with old quarry. Crystalline limestone was quarried forming a horizon in amfibolites of the Stróňe Group. Limestone body is 40 m thick. Petrologically important locality. This locality is proposed for protection.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Lugicum - Orlice-Sněžník crystalline complex
