Short characteristics of the site: Outcrops on a river bank. Rocks belong to the Monotonous Group of the Bohemian Moldanubicum. Migmatites are present which pass into stromatites. Typical occurrences of red-violet garnet of almandine composition. Petrologically very significant locality.
